How to use this tool

  1. Choose your images and select the photo to edit.
  2. Move the crop border to frame what you want to keep. Use an aspect-ratio preset or the precision controls to refine it.
  3. Apply rotation or horizontal/vertical flipping, check the result preview, then process.

What you get

A new image contains the selected crop with your rotation and flip settings applied. A 90° or 270° turn swaps the horizontal and vertical orientation.

Before you start

  • Everything outside the crop border is excluded. Check that faces, text and signatures are not cut off.
  • Changing the crop ratio changes the composition. Check the downloaded image as well as the preview.

Common questions

How is cropping different from resizing?

Cropping removes part of an image; resizing changes pixel dimensions while keeping the full picture.

Does flipping also reverse text?

Yes. A horizontal flip mirrors lettering and logos too, so take care with signs and document photos.

Can I recover the cropped-out area from the result?

No. That area is absent from the new file. Keep the original if you may want a different crop later.
